musicempowers: ECONOMIC IMPACT OF MUSIC & THE ARTS We all support music, arts, and education therein for their cultural benefits. However we often overlook their long term economic impact. In fact, as the attached points out arts organizations are a $135 billion industry in the U.S. They support 4.1 million full time equivalent jobs, and generate $22.3 billion in annual government revenues.
